Jet Airways offer new flights on select routes

Two new flights with convenient timings will be offered by Jet Airways on Delhi-Mumbai-Delhi and Delhi-Chennai-Delhi sectors effective, Sunday, December 01, 2002. Jet Airways will also commence a second flight on Chennai-Hyderabad-Chennai sectors effective, Friday, December 06, 2002.

With the induction of the 32nd Modern Next-Generation Boeing 737-800 aircraft to its fleet Jet Airways will offer an additional flight from Delhi to Mumbai, thereby offering passengers a wider choice of 11 flights, the highest offered by any airline on this sector.

Thus, within a span of one hour from 0650 hrs to 0800 hrs, Jet Airways will offer three Boeing 737 flights one at 0650 hrs, second at 0735 hrs and the third at 0800 hrs from Delhi to Mumbai.

The new morning flight 9W 308 (Delhi-Mumbai) will depart Delhi 0735 hrs, arrive Mumbai 0930 hrs. From Mumbai the Boeing 737 flight 9W 307 (Mumbai-Delhi) will depart Mumbai 0735 hrs and arrive Delhi 0930 hrs. With the commencement of this 154-seater flight Jet Airways passengers have a choice of three flights between India's Political Capital and Business Capital within a span of just one hour.

Jet Airways will also offer three flights between Delhi and Chennai daily. The second morning flight 9W 829/830 (Delhi-Chennai-Delhi) will depart Delhi 1010 hrs and arrive Chennai 1245 hrs, depart Chennai 1735 hrs and depart Delhi 2010 hrs.

Jet Airways will complement its morning flight between Chennai and Hyderabad with an afternoon flight from December 06. The second flight 9W 489/490 (Chennai-Hyderabad-Chennai) will depart Chennai 1330 hrs, arrive Hyderabad 1430 hrs, depart Hyderabad 1510 hrs and arrive Chennai 1610 hrs.

With the commencement of these new flights Jet Airways will operate 250 flights daily to 41 destinations within India.

Jet Airways has a fleet of 32 Modern and Next-Generation Boeing 737-400/700/800 aircraft and eight Modern ATR 72-500 turbo-prop aircraft.

With an average age of 3.18 years, the airline is among the operators of the youngest aircraft fleet in the world. The airline offers Business Class (Club Premiere) on most of its flights in addition to Economy Class.

Jet Airways is represented in Australia by World Aviation Systems, with offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.
