Mercure Inns in Australia to Offer Guests Latest Release Blockbusters - Free !

Travel News Asia 19 November 2002

Mercure Inns around Australia are entering the digital age by installing high tech, multi-channel digital in-house movie systems that screen all the latest blockbuster releases, free to guests.

Co-developed by Australian listed company Ezenet Limited, the new system eliminates the need for changing tapes and works on a "set and forget" basis, with a locked system and cartridges only needing to be changed once a month.

26 latest release movies such as Blade 2, Scooby Doo, Birthday Girl, Bend It Like Beckham and I Am Sam can now be viewed by guests in their rooms, with crystal clear digital vision and stereo sound. And Mercure guests can view the latest movies months before they go to video !

In-room schedules for movie channels outline screening times and a brief movie synopsis, allowing guests to plan viewing or drop in on movies at their leisure.

The Ezenet system is a 'turnkey' system that connects straight into the existing in-house system and transmits via antenna, giving Mercure guests access to the latest blockbuster movies on two channels.

The Ezenet system offers quality and security, and because it's digital; no matter how many times the movie is played, quality is never compromised.
