Meeting packages by Sol Melia Hotels & Resorts

Sol Meliá Hotels & Resorts' business hotels in Indonesia and Vietnam are offering a selection of meeting packages, with special benefits such as the use of an Espresso machine during coffee breaks at Gran Meliá Jakarta, a traditional horse carriage tour at Meliá Purosani (Yogyakarta) and special discount privileges at Meliá Hanoi.

GRAN MELIÁ JAKARTA

Gran Meliá Jakarta, located in the heart of the city's business and diplomatic district, is offering a special meeting package at a rate of US$98 nett per room per night (minimum booking of 30 rooms) and US$118 nett per room per night (minimum booking of 10 rooms).

The meeting package provides single accommodation in a Deluxe Room, buffet breakfast, the use of a meeting room, lunch from a choice of Indonesian and international buffets, Western or Chinese set menus with a complimentary glass of soft drink, and morning and afternoon coffee breaks with Espresso coffee machine set-up, mints and mineral water. Participants are also entitled to the use of standard meeting equipment such as overhead projector, slide projector, television and multi system video, flip chart, projection screen, microphones, podium and whiteboard with colour markers.

An additional charge of US$18 nett per room per night is applicable for double occupancy. The package is valid until 31 December 2003 and is commissionable to travel agents at 10%. One complimentary room is offered for every 15 confirmed rooms.

MELIÁ PUROSANI

Meliá Purosani, located in the heart of historical Yogyakarta, is offering a four-day/three-night Meeting at the Royal City package at a rate of US$345 nett per room based on single occupancy and US$445 nett per room based on double/twin occupancy, for groups of at least 20 persons.

The package provides three nights' stay at a Standard Executive Room, with access to Royal Service Executive Floor benefits such as daily cocktails from 5.00pm to 8.00pm, unlimited pressing, free local calls, one-hour Internet access and daily breakfast. It also includes a full day's use of meeting room, standard meeting equipment, one coffee break at the meeting area and another coffee break at the poolside gardens, a traditional lunch, a horse carriage tour of the Jalan Malioboro shopping street inclusive of a snack box, and a five-hour tour to Borobodur, the silversmiths and batik factory.

A special rate of US$95 nett is applicable for accompanying children under 12 years. This includes the use of an extra bed for three nights, daily breakfast, the Borobodor tour and access to the Little Amigos Kids Club.

The Meeting at the Royal City package is valid from 1 January 2003 to 31 December 2003.

MELIÁ HANOI

Meliá Hanoi, the hotel with the most extensive meeting facilities in the capital city, is offering a Hanoi Convention Package at US$88++ per room per night (Deluxe Room) or US$138++ per room per night (Executive Suite), based on single or double occupancy.

The package includes daily buffet breakfast at the El Patio restaurant, complimentary use of meeting room, standard audio-visual equipment (OHP, TV, VCR player and VCD player), coffee breaks and mineral water during meetings.

Delegates also enjoy special privileges such as 30% discount on laundry and dry cleaning services, 15% discount at the hotel's restaurants and bars and a 10% discount at the Meliá Boutique.

A Royal Service Executive Floor upgrade is available at US$30++ per room per night. This package is valid for groups of between 20 and 35 persons, and is available until 30 June 2003.
