High-level delegation fly to Mumbai to promote Dubai Shopping Festival 2003

A high-level delegation from the Dubai Shopping Festival has left for Mumbai as part of the campaign to promote the events, activities and promotions of DSF 2003. The India road show is one of the many road shows planned prior to the event to make international audiences, particularly media and the travel trade businesses aware of various elements of the Festival. Emirates Airline India headquarters in Mumbai is organising the road show.

The DSF delegation is headed by Mr. Saeed Mohammed Al Nabouda, Chief Executive Officer of DSF 2003 and includes Mr. Tawhid Abdullah, Chairman of the Gold and Jewellery Group and Ms. Elham Abbas, Corporate Communications Director of DSF 2003.

Members of the delegation will also meet journalists in Mumbai at a press conference to be held on the 15th of November during which they will highlight the attractions of Dubai Shopping Festival 2003 the mega shopping cum entertainment extravaganza will be held from January 15th to February 15th under the theme 'One World, One Family, One Festival'.

Mr. Saeed Mohammed Al Nabouda, CEO, Dubai Shopping Festival said, "India and Indian shoppers are very crucial and important to us. Everyone knows that the historical, cultural, social and trade links between India and the UAE are very strong. Relations between us have been getting stronger and events like Dubai Shopping Festival increase interaction between our people."

"Tourists from India have visited Dubai during DSF in large numbers every year. Mumbai being India's biggest media hub is the apt venue to reach millions of Indians about the fantastic offers that Dubai has in consumer electronics, gold and cosmetics during the Festival." added Saeed.
