The Marco Polo Beijing recently won two interior design awards for its
innovative and stylish interior design. The hotel was marked "excellent" in the
Hospitality / Entertainment Interior Category of the Hong Kong Designers
Association Design '02 Show. It was also named "Winner" in the Hotel Category
of the Asia Pacific Interior Design Awards competition. The Awards were open to
both Interior design firms and individual designers with projects completed in
the year 2002 and within the Asia/Pacific Region. The Marco Polo Beijing's
winning design fulfilled stringent selection criteria including originality,
creativity, cost effectiveness and functionality.
