The Marco Polo Beijing Wins Design Awards

The Marco Polo Beijing recently won two interior design awards for its innovative and stylish interior design. The hotel was marked "excellent" in the Hospitality / Entertainment Interior Category of the Hong Kong Designers Association Design '02 Show. It was also named "Winner" in the Hotel Category of the Asia Pacific Interior Design Awards competition. The Awards were open to both Interior design firms and individual designers with projects completed in the year 2002 and within the Asia/Pacific Region. The Marco Polo Beijing's winning design fulfilled stringent selection criteria including originality, creativity, cost effectiveness and functionality.

"We are delighted that The Marco Polo Beijing's innovative design has been recognized by two well-established Design Associations which advocate public interest in design and give industry recognition to outstanding projects. We are most pleased with the work of our interior designer Jane Arnett & her team at CL3 Architects Ltd and share the joy with them in winning the awards," said Michael Kalyk, President of Marco Polo Hotel Group.
