VISA AND MARRIOTT REWARDS® TEAM UP TO OFFER DOUBLE POINTS

Travelers Will Earn Free Vacations Twice as Fast During Spring Daily Double Promotion

Visa International and Marriott International, Inc. (MAR / NYSE) will offer double points for Visa cardholders and Marriott Rewards members April 1 to June 30, 2000. Effective with the second hotel stay charged to a Visa card, Marriott Rewards members will automatically earn up to 20 points per U.S. dollar – double the normal 10 points per U.S. dollar – toward free Marriott hotel stays, frequent flyer miles or any of over 200 reward options.

During the Marriott/Visa Daily Double, points are automatically doubled for each subsequent stay paid for with Visa at any of the 1,800 participating Marriott hotels in 55 countries worldwide. Travelers who are Marriott Rewards members receive double points no matter where their journey leads, as long as they pay with Visa. This offer is void to cardholders in Germany, Austria and Belgium. There is no promotion sign-up required. Participating Marriott brands include:

· Renaissance Hotels, Resorts and Suites

· TownePlace Suites by Marriott

· SpringHill Suites by Marriott

· Marriott Conference Centers

· Courtyard by Marriott
