Century to manage its second hotel in china!

Hong Kong, … Century International Hotels recently secured the management contract for the Watergate Century Hotel Shenzhen, a 152-room property owned by Shenzhen Water Supply Co., Ltd. Scheduled to open in October 2000, this will be Century’s second property in the People’s Republic of China.

Superbly located in the heart of Shenzhen’s financial district, the property is well positioned as a premier business hotel. The location is proximate to major banks, government offices and the stock exchange on the city’s most well-known strip, Shennan Zhong Road. The hotel adjoins a commercial complex owned by Shenzhen Water Supply Co., Ltd. Facilities will include a swimming pool, informal restaurant and lounge, business centre and meeting rooms.

“The Watergate Century Hotel Shenzhen will complement Century’s recent expansion in Hong Kong with the existing flagship Century Hong Kong Hotel, the opening of Century Harbour Hotel in 1999 and Century Inn North Point which opens in 2000,” remarked Mr. Brian Deeson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Century International Hotels.

Century International Hotels currently manages 20 hotels and resorts in six Asian countries - Hong Kong SAR, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, China and Vietnam. Opening 2000 will be the 463-room Century Roxy Park Hotel Singapore, 211-room Century Inn North Point and 152-room Watergate Century Hotel Shenzhen.
