MELIA GUATEMALA CATERS TO BUSINESS TRAVELLERS WITH NEW PACKAGES AND NEW FACILITIES

The 194-room Meli Guatemala Spa & Convention Center is offering business travellers and groups three special packages valid through December 31, 2000.

The Corporate Plus Package is offered at a rate of US$95.00++ for single/double occupancy without breakfast, US$101.00++ for a single including breakfast and US$107.00++ for a double including breakfast. This package includes shoe polishing, daily newspaper, four-hour extension on checkout time, welcome cocktail, room with fax and computer connection, airport hotel transfers, pre-check-in for Grupo Taca flights and 20% discount on food and beverage in the two hotel restaurants.

The Convention Package is offered to groups requiring 10 rooms or more. Rates start at US$75.00++ for single/double occupancy without breakfast, US$81.00++ for a single including breakfast and US$87.00++ for a double including breakfast. This package includes accommodation with fax and computer connections, 60 TV channels, airport-hotel transfer, audiovisual equipment, welcome cocktails for the group, shoe polishing, SkyTel for the group coordinator to receive messages via satellite, use of the 24-hour business center including secretarial services, internet and use of five different meeting rooms.

Also offered are eight suites for Extended Stay corporate travelers, featuring a kitchenette for US$110.00++per night.
