SOL MELIA MEETS NEEDS OF GROWING WOMEN BUSINESS TRAVELLER MARKET

Committed to serving the growing legions of female business travellers, Sol Meli hotels world-wide will be offering lady guests a range of value-added extras and personalised attention to make their stay more comfortable.

"The women business traveller segment is an important aspect of our business which we are continually looking to grow and enhance, by making special services and amenities available when requested."

MELIA PUROSANI

Executive ladies room facing the beautiful lagoon pool await women travellers on the fourth floor of Meli Purosani Hotel (Yogyakarta). Guests are escorted to their rooms by the Executive Housekeeper and are greeted by a welcome letter from the General Manager. The well-appointed non-smoking rooms are decorated with fresh tones which are complemented by the fresh flowers in the bedroom and bathroom. Special amenities that await lady guests in their rooms include satin bedcovers, kimono, slippers set, a body scale, hair dryers, sewing kit, magnifying make up and long mirrors.

Luxurious toiletries are also offered including: cotton bud, cotton ball, bandanna, bath salts, vanity kit and back scrub loofah. A selection of fashion magazine and newspapers and a choice of 25 TV channels are also available for in-room relaxation and entertainment.

Meli Purosani also provides complimentary use of the fitness centre. Guests can also opt for a massage on call in the room, and spa and body treatments at the fitness center. A refreshing low-calorie breakfast and vegetarian menu are available 24 hours room service, served by a waitress.

Security, one of the main concerns of the executive lady travellers, is taken care of by providing card key lock, electronic safe and increased security checks on the floor.

MELIA MEXICO REFORMA

At the Meli Mexico Reforma, in Mxico City, 12 specially selected rooms, with choice of smoking or non-smoking, single or double, standard or Servicio Real amenities include a pre-identified registration card, welcome letter, satin bathrobe (Royal Service floor) or light bathrobe (standard floor), skirt hangers, high-powered hair dryers, illuminated magnifying mirrors, women's magazines, express laundry service at no extra charge, fruit basket, fresh flowers in the room and bathroom, vanity kit, daily information on topics of interest and events around Mexico City and the name of the person who will deliver room service when ordered. There is also a female physician on call 24 hours.

GRAN MELIA SAO PAULO

Special touches offered to lady guests at the Gran Meli Sao Paulo, in Sao Paulo, Brazil, include rooms next to elevators, a coordinated cotton robe and slipper set, salon-strength hair dryer, magnified makeup mirror and a welcome letter signed by the executive housekeeper indicating that the hotel is aware of the guest's presence and that the entire staff is at her disposal. A female physician is available upon request.

GRAN MELIA CARACAS

At the Gran Meli Caracas, in Caracas, Venezuela, each lady guest has a personal guide that escorts her to the room and assists with hotel services. A pre-delivery telephone call is always made to inform the guest that room service is on the way. Valet parking and gym attendants are available at no charge to the guests.

MELIA BALI

At the Meli Bali, a four days/three nights Lady's Exclusive Package is being offered at a rate of US$325.00++ per room for single occupancy, US$365.00++ per room for double occupancy, and US$435.00++ per room for triple occupancy. This package is valid until 20 December 2000.

This package includes luxurious bath room amenities, a choice of bed linen (silk / cotton / linen), complimentary private breakfast at Sorrento restaurant, an hour-long Balinese massage at Spa at Meli, and free usage of the exclusive Garden Villas Club facilities. This package also includes suite accommodation, airport-hotel-airport transfers, a welcome drink and cold towel upon arrival, fruit basket in the room upon arrival A surcharge of US$75.00++ applies for August for the four days / three nights package, which is applicable to ladies above 16 years old.
