CATHAY PACIFIC ENHANCES FOOD AND ENTERTAINMENT AT THE WING

Cathay Pacific Airways has further enhanced the attractions of The Wing, its First and Business Class lounges at Hong Kong International Airport, by adding a range of new food and beverage choices and enhancing personal computer facilities. New food choices include fruit baskets and assorted snacks as well as a carving service. A greater number of personal computers with Internet access are also now available.

There is a greater selection of food and drinks at both the Business Class Lounge and the First Class Lounge. Visitors to the Business Class Lounge can enjoy a new fresh fruit platter offering a selection of seasonal fruits, as well as a range of popular snacks. The Long Bar in the Business Class Lounge also now offers a range of hot snacks in the evening such as buffalo wings, barbecued spare ribs, and fried calamari. The Short Bar in the Business Class Lounge now serves Haagen-Dazs ice cream and a wider range of international coffee blends.

In the First Class Lounge, a new carving service has been introduced in The Haven featuring a wide selection of red meats. First Class passengers to the fine-dining restaurant can enjoy a mouth-watering variety of carving specialties including loin of veal, sirloin beef, leg of lamb, and rack of lamb. The new carving station is part of The Haven's international buffet dinner which is served every evening.

Improvements to computer facilities at The Wing include the introduction of new state-of-the-art personal computers from IBM in The Reading Room in the Business Class Lounge. These are the latest IBM Net Vista x40i desktop computers and offer Internet access and a range of popular office applications such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. There are now also four IBM notebook computers for loan to all lounge users.

Cathay Pacific's Customer Services Manager - Lounge Carry Chan said: "We are delighted to introduce these new lounge services for our customers to give them an even better lounge to enjoy. We regularly talk to our customers about what they would like to see at The Wing, and many of these new enhancements are things they have suggested."
