ANSETT AUSTRALIA LAUNCHES AGENT INCENTIVE

Travel News Asia Date: 10 October 2000

To reward travel agents in Hong Kong, Ansett Australia is launching an exciting incentive promotion, giving away horoscope watches and economy class tickets to Sydney or Melbourne for their efforts in promoting the airline.

Simply by selling one Business Class ticket or two Economy Class tickets departing from 4 October to 15 December 2000, travel agents will receive an Ansett Australia Horoscope watch of their choice, from a selection of twelve representing all the zodiac signs.

After collecting all 12 watches, travel agents will receive a free display case and a chance to win a trip to Australia.

All Ansett Australia tickets are valid for this promotion, with the exception of groups, FOC, ID/AD, child and senior citizen tickets. Each ticket can be redeemed once only and all tickets must be issued in Hong Kong for travel from Hong Kong commencing from 4 October to 15 December 2000.

Due to limited stock, designs will be issued on a first-come-first-served basis, if the preferred horoscope watch is out of stock, an alternative will be offered.

Travel agents are required to fill in a form and fax with a copy of the PNR print out to Ansett Australia office at fax no. 2866 2120 before 31 December 2000. It is required that the name of the travel agent must be shown in the PNR proving that the person is the one who made the reservation. After verification, the travel agent will be contacted for watch collection.

Ansett Australia has been serving Asia since 1993. The airline currently operates flights between Australia and four international destinations: Bali, Fiji, Hong Kong, and Osaka including daily flights between Hong Kong and Sydney. Ansett Australia is wholly owned by Air New Zealand.
