VIRGIN BLUE APPOINTS SCARFLESS SALES EXEC FOR SOUTH AUSTRALIA

Virgin Blue is proud to announce that Alison Thomas has joined Virgin Blue today as the Airline Sales Executive for South Australia.

Alison, a long time resident of Brompton, has eleven years of travel industry sales experience with Flight Centre, American Express, and most recently with Saville Hotels.

She also has spent five years with Qantas, having been promoted from reservations to Corporate Sales. Alison said “I’m looking forward to seeing a lot of my old friends in the industry, but I hope they still recognize me since I won’t be wearing a navy blue suit and a scarf anymore.”

Virgin Blue’s double daily Adelaide-Brisbane service compliments their nine daily flights between Brisbane and Sydney and their five daily flights between Brisbane and Melbourne.

Virgin Blue has a special travel agents hot line 136-737 and will soon be offering booking for agents via the internet. Virgin Blue presently pays all travel agents 5% commission + a 2% override.
