Meridien Hotels and Resorts appoints New General Manager for Le Meridien Angkor

Le Méridien Hotels and Resorts has appointed Yves Mudry to take the helm as General Manager of the company’s new five-star resort, Le Méridien Angkor in Siem Reap, Kingdom of Cambodia. This property is currently under development and is due to open in September 2004.

Michael Sagild, Managing Director, Asia Pacific, Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts, said: "Yves’ visionary approach is key to driving success to Le Méridien Angkor. With his hospitality experience, he gives us great confidence in his ability to lead Le Méridien Angkor to be one of the best hotels in Cambodia". 

Yves has been with Le Méridien Hotels since 1997, holding leadership positions at several of the company’s properties throughout Asia. Until recently, he was Resident Manager at the luxurious Le Royal Méridien Baan Taling Ngam resort in Koh Samui, Thailand.

A Swiss national, Yves received his Bachelor’s degree in International Hospitality Management from Switzerland’s Lausanne Hotel School.
