Travel News Asia 9 June 2004

SpaAsia, one of the region's premier spa and wellness magazines, together with Eu Yan Sang Intl Ltd and the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit, will be hosting an exclusive two-day seminar and workshop from 18-19 June on the wonders and regenerative powers of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

For two days only, Mr Lee Jok Keng, the TCM development manager with Eu Yan Sang Intl Ltd and an expert in this area, will speak on a range of topics, including de-stressing techniques to boost immunity as well as the promotion of longevity.

"Consumers today want to ensure they are taking effective day-to-day measures to prolong their lives, and are shifting towards a more comprehensive view of sickness prevention." commented Mr Keng.

Participants of SpaAsia's upcoming TCM Wellness Weekend are in for an eye-opening experience which will delve deep into the four complex pillars that form the foundation of healing; Special Herbal Supplements, Subtle Energy Manipulations, Dietary Modifications and Lifestyle Adjustments.

The TCM Wellness Weekend will be conducted in a hands-on manner, allowing participants the chance to touch, taste, feel and otherwise learn about potent herbal ingredients that are specially harvested for their specific healing purposes.

These ingredients, coupled with the ability to harmonize one's vitality or "Qi", reputedly hold the key to effective stress reduction, good blood circulation, support of the immune system and strengthening of the internal organs.
