PERNAS Hotel Management to provide Sales and Marketing support for The Aryani

Travel News Asia 9 December 2004

PERNAS Hotel Management (PHM), the operators of Malaysia’s Mutiara Hotels and Resorts, has confirmed it is to provide Sales and Marketing support for The Aryani, a unique boutique seaside resort situated in the Malaysian state of Terengganu.

Mr. Halim Merican, Director of Operations and Special Projects for PHM said: "The Aryani is a unique property and this representation presents exciting new opportunities for both PHM and The Aryani. It fits in perfectly with out aim to offer uniquely Malaysian hotels and resorts to the travelling public."

He continued: "PHM has successfully managed and represented various properties domestically and the Mutiara brand has become recognised by those seeking true Malaysian hospitality while on holidays in the country. Our representation of The Aryani is a new one for PHM in that we will only be assisting the property with sales and marketing representation and not full management as we do with our other properties."

A stay at The Aryani enables guests to enjoy warm Malaysian hospitality in an environment that is totally unlike any hotel stay. With just 20 villas, the opportunity exists for personalised service not unlike what would be offered if guests were to stay in someone’s house.

Amongst the unique features of The Aryani are the hundred-year-old timber 'Heritage Suites' which were dismantled and rebuilt on the resort site. The 'Heritage Suite' is part of the original timber Palaces Complex of Royal households from the 19th century. It offers guests the unique experience of living in an ancient timber palace.

All villa units have their own private garden and gateway with an outdoor sunken bathtub in an intimate garden setting. The Heritage and Modern Suites feature both outdoor and indoor baths giving guests the choice of enjoying both luxuries.

Guests can also relax and be pampered in The Heritage Spa which offers a selection of treatments including traditional massage.

The Aryani is located just 25 kilometres north of the bustling seaport of Kuala Terengganu and airport which is serviced by regular flights on both Malaysia Airlines and AirAsia to the Malaysian international gateway of Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). It is also accessible by road via a scenic coastal route locating it approximately six hours drive from Kuala Lumpur.

Terengganu is a land of lonely white beaches with offshore marine parks and islands.
