Raymond Ang appointed Hotel Manager of Meritus Negara Singapore

Meritus Hotels & Resorts has appointed Raymond Ang as Hotel Manager of the Meritus Negara Singapore.

Mr Ang has been Executive Assistant Manager at the Marina Mandarin Singapore since December 5, 2000. He started his hotel career in 1978 with Hyatt Regency Singapore. His first overseas posting was in 1985 when he took up the assignment with Hyatt Tianjing. Subsequently, he progressed onto other management positions in Macau, Taiwan, Malaysia and Hong Kong. Prior to joining the Meritus Group, he was Executive Assistant Manager of Hotel Sintra in Macau.

Mr Ang takes over from Anthony Goh, who completed his assignment at the end of September 2004. In his new capacity as Hotel Manager, Mr Ang will lead the hotel’s management team and direct the overall daily operations of the hotel.
