The Ritz London appoints Delivering Asia as Sales Representative

Travel News Asia 6 July 2004

The Ritz London has appointed Delivering Asia as its sales representative in Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Taiwan and Korea.

“We are delighted to welcome Delivering Asia to our international sales team“ says General Manager, Stephen Boxall. “We recognise the market of the future is in Asia. Establishing an office in Hong Kong is a strategic move for The Ritz and it will enable us to further develop this significant growing market.”

Delivering Asia is well positioned to provide legendary 133 room London hotel with the high level expertise and professional sales and marketing representation for which it is noted throughout the Asian region. Founded in 2001 by Managing Director Joe Cauchi, Delivering Asia’s portfolio includes a select collection of international five star luxury hotels, resorts and spas. Delivering Asia’s first client in London, The Ritz further benefits from exclusive representation in this important market.

Located in the heart of London’s West End with views overlooking Piccadilly and Green Park, The Ritz is privately and independently operated. Opened in 1906 by legendary hotelier Cesar Ritz, the 133 room grand luxe hotel is renowned for its opulent Louis XV1 décor and its elegant private and public rooms. The Ritz Restaurant, considered by many to be one of the most beautiful dining rooms in the world, is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. The Palm Court provides the perfect venue for The Ritz’ celebrated Afternoon Tea service, while The Rivoli Bar, re-opened in 2001, has already taken its place as one of the great cocktail bars in London. In 2002, His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales awarded the hotel a Royal Warrant for Catering and Banqueting services, the first and only hotel to have received this honour.
