Malaysia Airlines launches Kuala Lumpur - Stockholm - New York Service

Malaysia Airlines has commenced its Kuala Lumpur-Stockholm-New York vv service.

The Kuala Lumpur-Stockholm-New York return service adds another milestone in Malaysia Airlines’ network expansion plan and is the first into Scandinavia in its efforts to tap a new market in the Northern Europe region.

The flight from Kuala Lumpur to Stockholm departs Kuala Lumpur on Monday, Thursday and Saturday at 08:50 to arrive in Stockholm the same day at 15:00. This flight then departs the Swedish capital at 16:30 to arrive in New York at 18:50 the same day.

The return flight departs New York the same at 21:40 and arrives in Stockholm at 11:20 the next day. It then continues to Kuala Lumpur leaving Stockholm every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday at 12:40 to arrive the in Malaysian capital the next day at 07:55.

These two non-stop services will currently be operated using a three-class configured Boeing B777-200 aircraft with 12 First, 33 Business and 233 economy class seats.

The Swedish capital is one of the nine destinations in Europe to be linked to the airline’s global network in its winter schedule for the period 28th of October until 31st March 2005.
