Thai AirAsia launches new non stop flights between Phuket and Singapore

Travel News Asia 5 November 2004

Thai AirAsia launches today its first non stop link between Phuket and Singapore.

To celebrate the new route to Singapore, Thai AirAsia launched an exceptional promotion in September with 3,000 seats priced at S$0.29* (ca Bht 7.20) for one way-travel between Singapore and Phuket.

Thai AirAsia current fare promotion still remains an excellent bargain for both Phuket and Singapore residents and visitors. Thai AirAsia cheapest available fare starts from Baht 900 or S$ 49.99.

Flights leave Phuket at 09:30 arriving in Singapore at 12:10, the return flights depart Singapore at 12:45 landing in Phuket at 13:20.

Parallel to its Phuket-Singapore service, Thai AirAsia is launching a third daily mid-day flight from Bangkok to Singapore, bringing the number of weekly services to a total of 21 flights in each direction.

Tassapon Bijleveld, CEO, Thai AirAsia commented, “Thai AirAsia's development in Singapore has been tremendous as proved by the number of passengers, who already fly with us on our routes. We are keen to further provide low, affordable fares as well as a reliable, high-quality service to all our guests between Thailand and Singapore”
