MasterCard International
has contributed USD250,000 (approximately S$410,000) to the Singapore Red Cross Society in aid of the Tsunami relief
efforts that is being undertaken across the South Asia region.
MasterCard has also initiated a relief program in which personal donations made by employees will be matched by the organization. MasterCard
said it hopes that such efforts will play an important part in helping those who have been severely affected by the
Tsunami earthquake tragedy.
