The Sydney Marriott Hotel on Hyde Park has
appointed Ruwan Peiris as its new General Manager.
Mr Peiris joins the
Mirvac-owned property from his previous position of General Manager of two other Mirvac
properties, The Sebel Resort Hawkesbury Valley and The Sebel Resort Kirkton Park, Hunter Valley.
His previous roles within the Mirvac and Marriott chains in Australia also include Executive Assistant Manager The Sebel Town
House Sydney and Director of Food and Beverage at the Marriott Resort Surfers Paradise.
Mr Peiris succeeds Stephen Floyd, who has moved to Canberra.
Also joining the Sydney Marriott Hotel is David Ross, who has been appointed Manager Food and Beverage, after holding senior roles at a range of hotels, including with the Accor Group, and tourist attractions.
