China Southern Airlines
has appointed Miami-based Global Air Cargo, Inc, as its new General Sales Agent (GSA). With more than 20 years experience in International freight sales, Global Air Cargo will be China Southern’s professional general
sales agent company in Texas, Florida, Louisiana, Arkansas, Tennessee, South Carolina and Alabama. “Global Air Cargo will have a
dedicated sales team to focus on China/USA cargo in major metropolitan markets with significant potential, including Dallas,
Houston, Austin, Miami and Atlanta,” said Mr. Wayne Chen, General Manager, Chicago Branch Office, China Southern
Airlines.
He added that China Southern’s new relationship with Global Air Cargo, “will strengthen our offline sales activities in this region
and enlarge China Southern’s coverage in these markets which have significant traffic for China. China Southern Airlines currently
has cargo drop off stations in varied offline cities but with the addition of Global Air Cargo, we now will have our own sales team to
meet customers in person in these important markets.”
Chen added that the new partnership, ”would not just enlarge China Southern's current sales coverage in the U.S. but also to
prepare for future growth in the Central and South America marketplace."
China Southern Airlines operates Boeing 747-400 freighter service from Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport to Shanghai and
Shenzhen every Tuesday and Thursday. |
