Gulf Air offers Singaporeans Amazing Fares for just One Day with 'May Day Madness'

Travel News Asia 28 April 2004

Gulf Air is offering Singaporeans the opportunity to experience luxury service at record low prices.

To celebrate the return of Singapore as its regional hub in Asia, Gulf Air is reducing airfares by 50 per cent. For one day only travellers can buy Economy, Business or First Class seats for half price. The 'May Day Madness' sale will run from 9am - 5pm on Saturday May 1, 2004.

Gulf Air General Manager South East Asia Claire Beswick says the airline is excited about bringing this promotion to Singaporeans. "For a great price, travellers can now fly from Singapore to 23 destinations in Australia, Europe and the Middle East," she says.

"We're offering the best of both worlds. Passengers pay half the price but still get the premium cabin service people have come to expect from Gulf Air. That includes our unique in-flight services like Sky Nanny and Sky Chef on our services operating to Bahrain, London and Sydney."

Sky Nanny is a world first in-flight service for children and parents travelling with children. The service, which is available to children up to the age of 12, allows parents and other passengers to have a more relaxing and pleasant flight. All Gulf Air Sky Nannies are trained and certified in child development and care from the prestigious Norland College in the UK.

The Gulf Air Sky Chef service brings expertise and innovation from the world's leading restaurants to the First Class cabin where customers can enjoy fine dining and personal attention at 35,000 feet.

To take advantage of the 'May Day Madness' sale interested travellers need to go to the Gulf Air Singapore office at 350 Orchard Rd, #14-09 Shaw House Singapore 238868. Bookings must be made in person* and passport and payment must be available on spot. Cash and major credit cards will be accepted. The sale will begin at 9am sharp and Gulf Air is expecting a big turnout.
