One of Australia's most iconic and recognisable hotels, Gagudju Crocodile
Holiday Inn is to have a new General Manager. Geoff Naumann recently returned to
the Northern Territory to take up the position from the first week of February.
Geoff has spent the last 15 months orchestrating the pre-opening and opening
phases of the successful Crowne Plaza Newcastle as Director of Marketing.
Prior to this, Geoff spent 15 months as Director of Marketing NT for
InterContinental Hotels Group, the Jabiru hotel's management company. During
that time Geoff created the Gagudju Dreaming branding and the award-winning
"Senses of Kakadu" festival.
Previous positions include Director of Marketing, Crowne Plaza Coogee Beach
and Product Development Manager for the then Southern Pacific Hotels Corporation. Geoff is the recipient of an Australia Day award for services to local
tourism, and was a Judge (2003) and Chair (1996) of the Hunter Valley Tourism
Awards. Geoff studied for a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and
holds a Masters Degree in International Tourism Management. |
