The Courtyard by Marriott North
Ryde, Sydney, today announced two senior management appointments, ahead of its opening on 1 September.
The General Manager of the hotel,
Louise
Byrom, comes to the new property with 22 years experience in the hospitality industry,
14 of these with the Marriott Group. Ms Byrom was General Manager of the Courtyard by Marriott Parramatta for the past four
years.
Renae Trimble has been appointed Director of Sales for Courtyard by Marriott North Ryde. Ms Trimble was previously National
Sales Manager, Corporate, for Rydges Hotels Resorts, and has held senior sales and business development roles with the
Rydges, Carlton and Gazebo hotel groups.
The 196-room Courtyard by Marriott North Ryde will be Australia’s third Courtyard by Marriott property – the 4 - 4.5 Star division of
the Marriott Hotels group. It will include eight meeting rooms, a lobby lounge bar and a 120-seat restaurant called Orchards, to reflect the history of North
Ryde as part of an apple growing region. The
hotel is located in the busy Macquarie corporate estate, at the corner of Talavera and Lane Cove Roads, North Ryde, just 12 kilometres from Sydney’s CBD. |
