AirAsia to launch Hat Yai - Kuala Lumpur service

AirAsia is to commence its first international route from Hat Yai in southern Thailand to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia's capital city on August 5th.

Flight AK863 will leave Hat Yai at 2.40 pm reaching Kuala Lumpur at 4.45 pm, the return flight AK862 leaves Kuala Lumpur at 2:05 landing in Hat Yai at 2:15. The flight will be served with a Boeing 737-300 equipped with 148 leather seats.

To celebrate the new service, AirAsia is offering a special promotional fare of Baht 500/RM 49.99 for bookings done between July 1st and 15th. Travel must be completed between August 5th and October 30th.

The new route will also ideally complement AirAsia's existing flights from Hat Yai to Bangkok".
