China Southern and Korean Air sign new Code Share Agreement

China Southern Airlines has signed a code share agreement with Korean Air for service between Incheon and Shenyang which will come into effect 8 August.

Currently, Korean Air is operating a total 70 weekly flights to China and 11 weekly flights between Incheon and Shenyang while China Southern Airlines is operating a total 12 weekly flights between these markets.

The code share agreement practically enables both carriers to ensure a total of 23 weekly flights between these two cities, respectively.

“With this new code sharing agreement with Korean Air, we hope to enhance our working relationship for offering our customers more benefits and convenience,” said Mr. Li Kun, Vice President, China Southern Airlines.

“China is becoming increasingly important and the cooperation with the China’s leading airlines will surely help us to achieve our goal to ‘Be a Respective Leader in the World Airline Community. Providing more travel options to our passengers as a part of ‘Service Excellence’ strategy is one of our top priorities”, said Mr. Young Ho Kim, President of Korean Air Passenger Division.
