Grace International, a new hospitality management group, focusing on the acquisition, conceptualisation and
development of unique boutique hotels, is to open its first independent
5-star property, The Scarlet in Singapore. The Scarlet’s
is situated in one of Singapore’s historic enclaves and within the Central Business District.
Acquired and developed at an investment of US$35 million, The Scarlet makes a bold statement, by carefully
preserving and combining the architectural styles of Singapore heritage buildings with a striking, audacious concept
and design that provokes the senses and the imagination. This is for those bored with the predictable and the
obvious in hotels.
Targeted at the international set – trend conscious and adventurous professionals aged between 25 – 45 years, The
Scarlet has been created as an oasis of carefully conceived interiors, based on a total design concept that promises
to awaken a new sensory experience through its ambience, attire and cuisine.
Using the signature red that reflects The Scarlet’s name, and combining it with opulent gold and sophisticated
black, the hotel’s décor is unlike anything experienced before. The shamelessly uninhibited style that dares to be
different, is followed through in the 84 rooms including 5 individually-themed suites, each with a tantalising name –
“Splendour”, ”Passion”, “Opulent”, “Lavish” and “Swank”!
The Scarlet boasts three restaurants and bars, whose names are as uninhibited as their surroundings and catering
