Six Senses Resorts & Spas has opened a dedicated Sales & Marketing
office in Tokyo. This is in response to the growth in the Japanese market
and the further potential for Japanese arrivals at the group’s Soneva Resorts, Evason Hideaways and Evason Resorts.
The office will be under the direction of Akihiko Nishio who has joined Six
Senses as Director of Sales & Marketing - Japan.
Mr Nishio brings to Six Senses a wealth of travel industry knowledge, being
a founder of one of Japan’s highly respected tour operators, ST World, Inc.,
based in Tokyo, where he held the role of Managing Director and General Manger
for Planning & Purchasing.
Prior to this, until 1992, he had tenures with Marriott Corporation as Sales
Manager for Asia/Travel Trade, in Tokyo; and as Marketing Officer for Japan
for The Netherlands Board of Tourism. |
