Discover The World Marketing Indonesia appointed Agent for SRS-WORLDHOTELS

Discover The World Marketing Indonesia has been appointed as preferred agent for Indonesia for SRS-WORLDHOTELS.

Discover The World Marketing Indonesia was established in 1996 – a joint venture between Anton Thedy, owner of the Jakarta Express wholesale travel agency, and Tony Lim, owner of Discover The World Marketing outlets in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and China.

With offices in Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, Semarang, Medan and Batam, Jakarta Express was recently awarded “The Most Innovative Marketing Effort by Foreign Tour Operator” in the annual Singapore Tourism Board awards.

Jakarta Express handles more than 2,000 travel agents in Indonesia and has just opened another branch office in Bali to represent Royal Brunei Airlines on the island.

Anton Thedy has been in the travel industry for 24 years – with travel agencies including Beautiful Continental Tour, Dwidaya Tour, Ramashinta Travel, Bayu Buana Leisure and Vayatour. He is married with four children.

Among Discover The World Marketing Indonesia’s first clients were US Airways and British Midland.
