Travel News Asia 23 November 2004

Yet another consignment of new 2005 cars have joined the rental fleet of Hertz Saudi Arabia as the company continues with plans to increase its market share among the country’s business travellers.

The new Chevrolet Lumina and Chevrolet Epica have been added to the Hertz fleet in the Kingdom.

“We aim to operate the youngest fleet in the Saudi market. The Lumina needs little by way of introduction as it has been a popular model for many years. I am however very excited about the 2005 Epica which offers excellent value to the business traveller” said Safir Islam General Manager of Hertz Saudi Arabia.

The cars were supplied to Hertz Saudi Arabia by Universal Motors Agencies (GM Authorised Dealer), this deal represents the second major transaction between the two companies “we regard Hertz as a strategic partner and look forward to playing a continued and growing role in the company’s future” said Ashraf Fouad Ali Fleet Sales Manager of Universal Motors Agencies.
