Are you ready for the 10th Dubai Shopping Festival?

Travel News Asia 2 December 2004

Ladies and shopaholics, get set to be dazzled by one of the world's most exciting shopping and entertainment extravaganzas - the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF).

From January 12 to February 12, 2005, Dubai will host its 10th annual Dubai Shopping Festival. Over the years, the DSF has grown phenomenally to become one of the biggest shopping events in the world. Inspired by the theme One World, One Family, One Festival, DSF 2005 will be even bigger, bolder and better than ever before.

Boasting some of the world's best brands at some of the world's best prices, Dubai, affectionately termed "do-buy", has the reputation of being the shopping capital of the Middle East. Choose from a wide array of fashion brands, perfumes, gold and jewellery, electronics, cosmetics or traditional handicrafts - the DSF has it all. Last year alone, more than three million visitors flocked to the DSF in search of incredible shopping bargains, non-stop fun and exciting entertainment.

And that's not all. Each day, a winner will take home a Lexus 4x4, Lexus saloon and more than S$60,000 in cash in the Lexus Mega Raffle, and each week, one lucky winner walks away with a gorgeous Emaar Springs villa. On top of that, there are 52 Nissan vehicles and 32 kilogrammes of gold waiting to be raffled off in 32 days.

Each year, the entire city comes alive with an exhilarating carnival atmosphere, with plenty of entertainment and things to do for the entire family. There is something for everyone - choose from exhibitions, plays, concerts, bazaars, street performances, fashion shows, sports events and more.
