Ferry Connections for Finnair Flights in Hong Kong

Travel News Asia 19 February 2004

Finnair is offering its passengers fast ferry connections to Hong Kong International Airport from four locations in the Pearl River Delta. Macao and Guangdong Province's Shenzhen, Shekou and Humen now have high-speed catamaran ferry connections directly to Hong Kong Airport's SkyPier Terminal.

Check-in for flights takes place at the SkyPier Terminal from where passengers are transferred by bus directly to the transit area.

The ferry schedules are most convenient for passengers flying with Finnair from Hong Kong to Bangkok and Helsinki, and from the beginning of the summer schedule at the end of March, there will also be a connection from the Helsinki-Hong Kong flight to the ferry leaving for Macao.

Tickets to the ferries are sold at the ferry terminals, at Hong Kong Airport and at local travel agencies.

Finnair has also opened the Singapore, Bangkok and Hong Kong-Helsinki routes for travel with the e-ticket. The e-ticket is also available for several of Finnair's European routes as well as for all Finnair routes within Finland. Passengers should have a printout of the e-ticket itinerary with them on travel from Singapore, Bangkok and Hong Kong to Europe.
