Le Royal Méridien Phuket Yacht Club appoints new Resident Manager

Andre Brulhart has been appointed as Resident Manager of Le Royal Méridien Phuket Yacht Club, where he is responsible for overseeing the resort's Rooms Division, Food and Beverage, Engineering, Human Resources and Security departments.

Brulhart possesses a wide range of experience in the hospitality industry, especially Food and Beverage, having held executive positions at a number of international hotels throughout Asia over the past 15 years, including several in Thailand.

Dominique Lapointe, General Manager, Le Royal Méridien Phuket Yacht Club, said: "Mr Brulhart’s extensive hospitality experience, combined with his strong background in Food and Beverage, will help strengthen Le Royal Méridien Phuket Yacht Club’s position as one of Phuket’s premier destinations."

Brulhart arrives at his new posting from within the Méridien Group, where he was Resident Manager of the Plaza Athénée Bangkok, another Meridien property. At Plaza Athénée, he successfully helped organize the hotel’s F&B and catering divisions.

Prior to joining Le Méridien Group, Brulhart worked with several hotels in Asia, including the Amari Boulevard Hotel, Bangkok; Hotel Sofitel Metropole Hanoi; The Imperial Queen’s Park Hotel, Bangkok; The Regent Bangkok; Jarkarta Hilton; and Hong Kong Hilton.

A Swiss national, Brulhart pursued his education at Switzerland’s Hotel Management School, Lausanne.
