Nok Air launches Beach Check-in Facility

Ever had to check out of a beach resort at midday when you know your flight is in the evening? Many hotels offer guests the flexibility of paying a little extra for a late check out, however guests in Phuket flying with Nok Air now have a new alternative available.

Nok Air, a low cost airline in Thailand, launched its first flights to Phuket Friday, and unveiled its innovative plans for travellers in Phuket who have to check out at 12:00 but who still want to be able to enjoy a beach and a hotels facilities all in the comfort of knowing that the airline will call them when the flight is ready for departure.

What is being labeled as one of the world's first Beach Check-in Facilities for a low cost airline, is located less than 5 minutes from Phuket International Airport at the Crown Nai Yang Suite Hotel. Nok Air's passengers need to make their own way to the hotel, where they can check-in at the Nok Air check-in counter, have their bags collected and receive their boarding pass. 

Passengers are then free to make use of all the hotels facilities, such as the swimming pool, the hotel lounge, restaurant, use the internet, enjoy Nai Yang beach and even check-in to the hotel under special hourly rates contracted with the airline. Passengers also receive one free beer or coke free of charge.

One hour prior to departure dedicated buses depart from the Crown Nai Yang Suite Hotel to transport passengers to the airport for boarding.

Nok Air flights from Bangkok depart at 08:40, 15:35 and 19:35 arriving in Phuket roughly 1 hour and 20 minutes later. The return flights leave Phuket at 10:35, 17:25 and 21:25.
