Sydney’s Courtyard by Marriott North Ryde unveils Loft Suites

Travel News Asia 18 November 2004

Sydney’s Courtyard by Marriott North Ryde, is now offering guests a spacious new option - split-level Loft Suites.

The suites which opened in September are the largest guestrooms in the hotel.

Each of the eight Loft Suites features a large living area and work desk downstairs and a double bed, bathroom and skylight window on the upper level.

Every room in the hotel includes high speed internet access, STD/IDD telephone, voicemail in English and Japanese and a laptop-size safe.

Rooms also feature calming pastel colour schemes, individually-controlled air conditioning, remote-controlled colour TV with six Foxtel channels, tea and coffee making facilities, minibar, hair dryer, and an iron and ironing board.

“Our hotel caters mainly for the business market on Sydney’s mid North shore, particularly in the Macquarie Park business precinct, which is home in Australia to a large number of international corporations,” said the hotel’s General Manager, Louise Byrom.

“The loft suites provide an affordable level of exclusivity for visiting senior executives. And they offer a novel new option to the leisure market, particularly to local Sydney residents who are simply seeking a night or a weekend away.”
