Diethelm Travel Asia joins forces with Business Travel International

Diethelm Travel Asia (DTA) has joined forces with Business Travel International (BTI) to offer a new corporate travel service in Cambodia, trading under the name BTI Cambodia.

With Diethelm Travel Cambodia’s local expertise and knowledge, BTI Cambodia will provide an innovative corporate travel network offering top corporate travel services that more effectively target its clients on a local, regional and global level. In addition, DTA will further provide the corporate travel and ticketing services for BTI in Laos, under the Diethelm brand.

“Cambodia is fast opening up. With the government’s plans to make tourism a top economic priority – as well as actively seeking to encouraging foreign investment – the corporate travel sector is destined for growth. Through our local expertise and BTI’s global reach, we are well positioned to tap the growing corporate market both in Cambodia and Laos,” said John Watson, chief executive officer, DTA.

Roger Westwood director of Business Travel International, said he was delighted to be working with Diethelm Travel and was pleased to welcome Cambodia into the BTI fold. “Through them and their sister company in neighbouring Laos, we will be in an even stronger position to offer quality services to our clients regionally and globally. Consolidation is increasing within the Asia/Pacific and Diethelm Travel’s expertise, combined with their size and reputation in the Greater Mekong Sub-region, will help to strengthen BTI’s position in Asia.”
