Korean Acting President Goh to open PATA Conference

Korea (ROK) Prime Minister and Acting President, Mr. Goh Kun, is to deliver the opening speech at the 53rd PATA Annual Conference, April 18-22, 2004.

Jeju Province Governor, Mr. Woo Keun-Min and Korea Host Committee Chairman, Mr. Yoo Keon, announced this as they moved to reassure Conference delegates that the motion to impeach Korean President Rho Moo-hyun will not affect preparations for the event and that Korea (ROK) remains "extremely safe and normal".

Mr. Woo and Mr. Yoo were united in saying that the Korea Host Committee and Jeju Provincial Government "will do their utmost to ensure that the 53rd PATA Annual Conference will be the most successful event in the history of PATA."
