Hertz offers fun convertibles in Spain

Travel News Asia 16 June 2004

Travellers visiting Spain and looking for cars as stylish and as thrilling as the country they have come to see, can now turn to Hertz which is offering a summer fleet of fun convertibles from a number of locations in the country.

Available at the Hertz locations in Madrid, Barcelona, Malaga and Alicante, the summer range includes vehicles such as the Alfa Romeo Spider, BMW Z4, Mercedes SLK Cabriolet, Smart Roadster and Peugeot 206 Coupe Cabriolet.

Also part of the Hertz fun range are gems like Mercedes CLK and Peugeot 307 Coupe Cabriolet which can take up to four passengers. For families and larger parties there's the Mercedes ML which can take up to five.

Rental rates for a week in June start from approximately US$345 for a Mini Cooper or Peugeot 206 inclusive of unlimited mileage, collision damage waiver, theft protection, location service charge and taxes.

Those opting for the sporty convertibles need not worry about getting too hot under the Spanish sun as all the cars are air-conditioned. They also come equipped with state of the art radio/CD player, power steering, power windows, central locking, airbags and ABS.
