Burba Hotel Network
(BHN) has formed an alliance with intelliMeet to offer clients electronic
meeting support and facilitation services for retreats and conferences.
"Our
innovative approach to meeting facilitation combines electronic meeting support,
process frameworks and the latest information on industry issues and trends,"
Burba stated. "We will facilitate nearly every type of meeting, from strategic
planning retreats to product innovation studios," Burba added.
In intelliMeet facilitated electronic meetings, the participants use networked
computers or keyboards to respond to agenda items.
"Instead of competing for
talk time, everyone can simultaneously type their ideas and comments, and as a
result, the group is able to generate a large number of ideas in a short period of
time," Burba said.
"We will also provide web conferencing services, where
meetings are conducted remotely over the Internet, using the latest technology,
saving the clients travel time and expenses. The technology was used with great
success in planning meetings for both the upcoming Americas Lodging Investment Summit (ALIS) and the recently held Hotel Investment Conference
