The
InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong has promoted Ulrike Weckler to the position of Hotel Manager. Ms. Weckler, a
native German, joined the hotel in October of 1996 as Executive Assistant Manager in charge of Food & Beverage.
Ms. Weckler's professional experience commenced in the hotel business in Switzerland, before developing her career in
Australia, Spain, France, Germany and the USA, where she gained valuable knowledge in different markets in both resort and
business hotel operations, before joining the InterContinental Grand Stanford in Hong Kong. Ms Weckler is fluent in German,
English, French and Spanish.
Commenting on her promotion, Gerhard Hecker,
General Manager of the hotel said "Ulrike's local and international experience in the hospitality industry
means that she is well placed to ensure that InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong continues to further develop its
position as a 5 star International Hotel and to provide highly personalised customer service."
