Optims
a European leader in information technology solutions dedicated to the optimization of management methods and revenue in
the Hospitality, Catering and Tourism industries, has announced the addition of Robert Benton to its sales and marketing team. Mr. Benton, who brings over 20 years of experience in hospitality sales, marketing
and technology, will be responsible for the overall growth of the Revenue Management Systems division in North
America.
Prior to joining Optims, Mr. Benton successfully provided strategic business development consulting for
ORBITZ, and spent 10 years with with Pegasus Solutions, previously REZsolutions and
Anasazi. While working with Pegasus, he was the Vice President of Business Development Utell & Sterling Hotels, (The Americas Division), responsible for high volume
accounts. During his tenure with Pegasus, he also spent time as a Product Manager, and Director
of Marketing. Prior to employment with Pegasus Solutions, Mr. Benton held Sales Management position with Encore
Systems.
Robert will be joining Andy Ahluwalia and his team in Westport, Ct, USA. |
