Private Retreats by Abercrombie & Kent names new Chief Operating Officer

Private Retreats by Abercrombie & Kent, one of the world’s premiere destination clubs, has named Mr. Bob E. Schrader as Chief Operating Officer to oversee all operational facets of the company, headquartered in Kansas City, MO.

“All of us at Private Retreats could not be happier that Mr. Schrader has decided to be part of our senior management team,” said Mr. William H. Elliot, President, Private Retreats. He added that, “After working with Bob on three other projects I know that he will redefine the highest quality of service in the private club business, thus once again we will be setting the benchmark for the industry.”

Mr. Schrader brings more than three decades in the luxury hospitality industry working with service leaders such as Regent International, Miraval Life in Balance, Four Seasons and most recently Ritz Carlton. He has extensive experience in all facets of the hospitality and travel tourism industry including General Management, Marketing, Rooms, Food & Beverage, Accounting, Spa, Training and Human Resources.

Mr. Schrader has successfully developed employee cultures that deliver the highest levels of quality and service. A member of the American Society for Quality since 1998, Mr. Schrader worked with Ritz Carlton’s quality programs, which have been twice recognized with the coveted Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award. 

“Bob’s role will be to instill a culture that can deliver experiences that provide to our members memories of a lifetime. He will develop a foundation for greatness at Private Retreats by using his talent to build great teams,” added Mr. Elliot.
