Hertz Saudi Arabia Boosts Car Rental Network

Hertz Saudi Arabia has expanded its network of car rental locations across the Kingdom by opening two new branches, while at the same time adding 200 brand new vehicles to its fleet.

The opening of the new car rental locations, in Al Bayan in Jeddah, and in the Kakia district in Makkah, means that Al Wasilah Rent A Car, the Hertz international franchisee in Saudi, now operates 21 Hertz branches throughout the country.

The new vehicles include the 2003 models Nissan Sunny and Maxima, the glamorous Nissan Infinity and the ever-popular Nissan Patrol. They join an already wide selection of economy vehicles, mid-sized sedans and 4x4s, including the Mazda 323, Mazda M6, Mercury Sable, Mercury Grand Marquis, and the Kia Rio.

"The opening of the two new branches, and the further upgrading of our fleet, is part of our ongoing commitment to offer car rental users in Saudi the biggest network of car rental locations, and the best choice of modern vehicles," said Ahmed Wasiffi, Assistant General Manager of Al-Wasilah Rent a Car Co. Ltd.

Hertz Saudi Arabia is also offering VIP level of car rental benefits for Saudi American Bank (SAMBA) credit cardholders. SAMBA credit cardholders making car rental bookings at any of the country's Hertz locations can enjoy up to 40% discount, and receive 150kms mileage extra per day, comprehensive accident insurance, and special deals on long-term lease.
