Qantas and British Airways offer great deals from Singapore

Qantas and British Airways have launched an airfare bonanza for travellers from Singapore by offering attractive deals to popular destinations in Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Europe. Prices for a round-trip economy class ticket, excluding applicable taxes and service fees, start from S$250 to Bali, S$538 to Melbourne, S$588 to Sydney and S$698 to Paris.

For just S$548, travellers can book flights from Singapore to popular Australian destinations like Cairns or the Gold Coast with Australian Airlines or fly to Perth for a weekend break for S$488. A shopping trip to Hong Kong can be had for as little as S$420.

Perennial favourites on the airlines' long-haul routes to Paris and Rome are also available for S$698, and London from S$798 during this latest round of global offers.

The adventure capital of the world, New Zealand, is also within reach, with prices to Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch for a low $700.

The airfares are valid for travel between March 12 and May 31 2003 (excluding New Zealand which is valid for travel between April 22 and May 31 2003).

To be eligible for the promotion, customers must pay and ticket within 48 hours of booking. The sale ends 5pm, March 17 2003.
