Air New Zealand launches special fares for travel to USA

Air New Zealand today introduced two bargain air fares to the USA - one flying nonstop in both directions between Sydney and Los Angeles, the other flying nonstop in one direction, and the other way via Auckland or a Pacific Island.

The "Straight to LA Fare" - is $1269 per person and is available for sale until 31 March, for departures from Sydney until 23 April. All travel must be completed by 27 April.

The "More Ways To The USA" fare is priced from $1484, including taxes, ex Sydney, enabling passengers to fly one way nonstop between Sydney and Los Angeles, with up to four stopovers permitted in Tahiti, Fiji, Cook Islands,  Samoa, Tonga or Auckland in the reverse direction. A free stopover is permitted in Auckland or LA, with Pacific stopovers permitted for $110 each.

This fare can be booked until 31 March, and is available for departures until 27 April.

The "More Ways To The USA" fare can also be combined with domestic add-on fares from other cities.

Passengers ex Melbourne pay from $1587, Brisbane from $1583, Canberra from $1614, Perth from $1987 and Cairns from $1835.

Seats are limited at these prices and some conditions apply. All travel is in Air New Zealand's Pacific Class. All above fares quoted include applicable taxes and are current as at 5 March 2003. Some may be subject to change due to currency rate fluctuations and routing options.
