Travel News Asia 3 June 2003

During the period 20-26 May, Singapore visitor arrivals declined 69% as compared to the same period last year, with arrivals from countries like P.R. China, Japan, India, Germany and Malaysia declining over 70%.

In terms of absolute arrivals during the period from 1 May 2003 to 26 May 2003 the P.R. China, Indonesia, Japan, India and Malaysia registered the largest drops in arrival numbers.
