Le Méridien Regional Marketing Office Relocates to Singapore

International luxury hotel chain Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts has relocated its Regional Marketing Office to Singapore to further enhance its availability and quality of service to its clients, guests and marketing partners.

Singapore being strategically located in the Asia Pacific region, together with a highly developed infrastructure, an excellent communications system and fascinating cultural contrasts, made this an ideal choice for the chain to position its brand presence, and to also provide an easier accessibility in order to achieve a higher standard of service to its clients, guests and marketing partners within the region.

Mr. Frank Foster, Senior Vice President, Marketing – Asia Pacific will spearhead this new Regional Marketing Office and will be responsible for localizing and deploying Le Méridien’s brand strategies throughout the  region, as well as identifying and targeting key customer segments for Le Méridien. He will also be responsible in delivering profitable growth through programme realisation and the execution of key marketing strategies.

To assist with the process, Kate McWilliam joins the Regional Marketing Team from Le Méridien, Australia where she has held the position of  Marketing & Communications Manager for almost 3 years and has made significant achievements towards marketing goals. Kate holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Communications with majors in Marketing, Communications and Public Relations. She will be responsible for supporting marketing programmes, developing and executing advertising campaigns within the Asia Pacific Region.

A new addition to the Regional Marketing Team ,Wong Yin Yin joins Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts as its Regional Public Relations Manager – Asia Pacific. Her role at the Regional Marketing Office is to localize and deploy the  Le Méridien brand strategies through Public Relations in Asia Pacific. She will also implement the global and regional Asia Pacific marketing plans for the brand. Yin Yin holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree with majors in Management and Economics from the University of Guelph, Ontario Canada. She has more than nine years of corporate and marketing communications experience in the hospitality industry in Jakarta, Hong  Kong and Taipei. Her communications experience also includes tenure as Marketing Communications Manager with CDL Hotels International Limited and Grand Hyatt Singapore.
