Spa Resources International appoints Regional Business Development Manager

Spa Resources International (SRI), the Gulf’s only spa development consultancy, has appointed its second regional business development manager to oversee the growth of the company’s business in the wellness/holistic leisure sector.

Qualified beauty therapist and treatment trainer, Briton Madeleine Hart, 37, has joined SRI following a 15 career in the beauty, leisure, spa and training industries.

"This appointment mirrors SRI’s growth over the past year, which has seen the company expand its client portfolio both within the UAE and beyond," said Daniella Russell, Director, MKM Health & Leisure Group, which owns SRI.

"Holistic and wellness facilities are now being sought by most five-star properties and resorts in the region as spa therapies increase in demand."

A recent survey carried out by MKM, which owns and operates the luxury Cleopatra’s Spa brand, showed that spa treatments are gaining in popularity in Dubai with regular male users visiting spas at least once a month.

SRI numbers among is clientele Jumeirah International, Kempinski Hotels & Resorts, Jebel Ali International and Le Meridien Hotels & Resorts.

SRI is the exclusive regional distributor for Ionithermie, the world-leading anti-cellulite inch loss treatments and equipment, and is also the Middle East  distributor for Elemis beauty products and O-lys light treatments.
