Novotel Apollo Singapore appoints Japanese Sales Task Force

The Novotel Apollo Singapore has introduced a newly appointed Japanese Sales Task Force. Handling Japanese sales enquiries, this new team will also oversee guest relations.

Novotel Apollo Singapore's General Manager, Mr Philippe Bissig, said: “Singapore has always been a popular Japanese tourist destination, whilst the Japanese expatriate community is one of the largest in Singapore and around South East Asia. This new task force is a reflection of Novotel and Accor's commitment, to offering our business and leisure travellers the finest quality in personalised service and facilities". 

Part of this commitment to offering quality service also means going that extra step, to ensure that guests feel right at home. At Novotel Apollo, it's not just about our Japanese breakfast buffet and specially translated Japanese room service menus, personalised welcome letters or even access to Japanese TV channel - NHK. Rooms for our Japanese hotel guests are also specially prepared with a Japanese Yukata (bathrobe), bedroom slippers and toothbrush. Guests also receive 2 complimentary bottles of mineral water and a daily copy of the Japanese newspaper, Asahi Shimbun.

For enquiries, guests can call the hotels direct line to speak to one of the Japanese Sales staff. Sales Managers - Ms. Yachiyo Furugen, Mr. Hisahiro Sasaki and Mr. Mikio Akiyama oversee corporate sales enquiries, with Ms. Furugen also assisting in public relations. Whilst as part of Novotel Apollo's promise to provide personalised service, Ms. Yuki Hattori is in-charge of guest relations, ensuring that guests feel right at home. All members of the Japanese Sales Task Force and the hotel management meet with Japanese guests for weekly cocktails hosted by the hotel.
